Access & Work Platforms
DSI have supplied and installed a vast array of access and work platforms to the water and waste water industry many of which function as multi purpose structures that provide mounting points for control panels and monitoring plant negating the need for additional steelwork to mount these items from.
We have worked with our clients to develop and provide cost effective and user friendly access solutions for new and existing environments. We have adopted a common general design model that works well and meets the approval of our clients and end users.
The platform can be delivered to site and assembled away from the wet well and be lifted into place as a complete structure this releases our site crews from having to work over a deep shaft with the associated safety hazards.
Platforms provided to date range in size from spanning a modest 3m diameter wet well to a more significant 20m span to provide access to and services for six large submersible pumps.
We also offer bespoke platforms of any shape or size to suit any application, whether it’s a simple hop-up to provide access to a control panel or tank filling point or a more substantial walkway to provide access between pieces of elevated plant we can fulfil your requirements.
